Take the following courses to receive your learner's permit.

After you complete the 4-hour online class and pass the learner's permit test, you must prove who you are at a DMV office before you are issued a permit with your picture on it. View DMV document requirements.

  • 4-Hour Alcohol Drugs Accident Prevention Training (ADAPT) Course

    This online course is mandatory for all ages and must be completed before taking the permit test and applying for a learner’s permit. This course is also required for licensed drivers under 21 years of age who have received a notice of suspension for driving under the influence of alcohol.

    You must be at least 14 years old to take this class.

    Upon finishing the class, we electronically send your completion confirmation to any DMV office in Florida.

  • Florida Learner's Permit Test

    This online class is mandatory if you are under 18. If you are over 18, the learner's permit test can only be taken at the DMV.

    The test contains 50 questions. Upon successfully completing the test, you will be eligible to receive your learner's permit at a Florida DMV office. This test is approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety Motor Vehicles.
